Patrick Allen

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Patrick Joseph Allen, who departed this life on August 5, 2026, at the age of 49.

Patrick was born on October 8, 1976, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Charles and Gelois Allen. He was a graduate of West High School, where he made his mark as a talented running back and was known for his remarkable speed, running a 4.2-second 40-yard dash

Patrick leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his parents, Charles and Gelois Allen; six beloved children; six cherished grandchildren; and four brothers, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

Patrick will be cremated, and his family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join them as they celebrate his life, share memories, offer comfort, and honor the legacy he leaves behind

Please join our family as we come together to celebrate Patrick’s life, honor his memory, and share the moments that made him so deeply loved.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 1:00–2:00p.m., followed by a time of fellowship 2:00–4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Jarnigan & Son Chapel, located at 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Knoxville, TN 37914. Family and friends are invited to gather, pay their respects, and celebrate Patrick’s life.

Though Patrick’s time with us was far too short, his memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the countless memories held close by those who knew him.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Jarnigan and Son Mortuary.
