Kerry Dorsett

Kerry Antonio Dorsett, age 65, passed away on November 5, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on July 19, 1961, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kerry was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and nephew. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of basketball, and the memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

Kerry was preceded in death by his loving mother, Annie Dorsett; his father, John Charles Jr.; his stepfather, Richard Dale Jr.; and his brothers, John Charles III and Richard Dale III.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Shara and Tiffany; his son, Antonio; his grandchildren, Daviesha (Fisher), David, Teniya, and Andaja; and his great-grandchildren, JaMaree and Asyni. He is also survived by his brothers, Kelvin, Fred, Christopher (Jennifer), Gregory, Glyn, and David, along with his aunt Betty.

The family will receive family and friends at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, located at 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914 on November 13, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service.
