Patricia Ann Robinson-Houston, a cherished mother, grandmother, and community advocate, peacefully departed this life on September 4, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the age of 79.

Early Life

Born on January 5, 1946, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Patricia was the eldest of five children of

Wilbert and Eunice Robinson. She grew up in a nurturing, faith-filled home where love, discipline, and compassion formed the core values. The Robinson household was a sanctuary of encouragement and community, instilling the importance of education, faith, and service

from an early age.

A Loving Presence

Affectionately known as “Pat” to her family and friends and “Grande’” to her grandchildren, Patricia accepted Christ at a young age and became a devoted member of Rest Haven Baptist Church in Alcoa. Family was always paramount in her life, serving as a guiding force that shaped her character and sustained her through life's joys and challenges.

Education and Achievements

Patricia attended Hall High School in Alcoa, where she excelled both academically and socially. As a varsity cheerleader and homecoming queen, she earned admiration for her intelligence, grace, and vibrant spirit.

After high school, she pursued higher education at Tennessee State University. She later married her high school sweetheart, C.A. Houston, and their union was blessed with three children: the late Kirsten Anthony Houston, Angel Letisse Houston, and Nicole Tahnee Houston. As a devoted mother, her quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering love were the cornerstones of her family.

Professional Journey

Pat's professional journey began in Moss Point, Mississippi, where she worked in the local school system, driven by her passion for children and education. After relocating to Louisville, Kentucky, she found her true calling as a Victims Advocate for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Attorney General’s Office. In this role, she provided unwavering support and empathy to victims of crime, ultimately retiring after many years of impactful service, leaving a legacy of justice and compassion.

A Life of Grace and Service

Patricia's life was characterized by purpose, integrity, and quiet resilience. Whether in her personal, professional, or spiritual endeavors, she exemplified grace, humility, and a commitment to serving others. Known for her kind words and warm smile, she relished hosting family and friends at the annual Kentucky Derby. With an innate talent for design and an elegant demeanor, she effortlessly made a statement without uttering a word. Her flair for decorating was matched only by her exquisite sense of style, making each gathering, from

intimate dinners to grand celebrations, a reflection of her signature grace. Her laughter resonated like music, and her stories captivated those around her, transforming ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Survived By

She is survived by her children, Angel Houston- Franklin (Demetrius), Knoxville, TN and Nicole Tahnee Smith (Ricky), Louisville, along with her beloved grandchildren: Daryus, Daelyn, Devean Franklin and Nia and Joy Smith. Additionally, she leaves behind her sister Linda Robinson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and lifelong friends who will miss her dearly and remember her with deep affection

and gratitude.
