Mitchell Drew

Mitchell Bubbie Drew, a father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on February 19, 1956, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mitchell was warm and showed kindness, he was known for his unwavering dedication to family and community. 

Mitchell was the beloved son of Marie Wallace, who preceded him in death, along with his dear sisters Betty Drew and Neice Drew. Despite the loss of his mother and sisters, Mitchell's spirit remained resilient. 

Proud veteran, Mitchell served his country with honor and dignity in the military. His service to the nation was a testament to his courage and commitment, values that he carried into his everyday life. After completing his military service, Mitchell embarked on a fulfilling career at Miller’s Department Store. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and compassionate individual, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a smile. 

Mitchell's legacy is carried forward by his daughter, Kristina Drew, His granddaughter, Ka’Mya Drew. 

He is also survived by his cousin, Dorothy Jackson, and his niece, Lolita Drew, who, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, and friends.
