Maggie Lenora Baker Williams transitioned to her heavenly home on May 25, 2026, while residing at Island Home Park Health and Rehab in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born in Florida on June 27, 1944, attended Charles M. Hall High School in Alcoa, Tennessee, and worked for several years in production in Rockford, Tennessee.

Maggie was a loving, caring, sincere, and giving woman who was deeply dedicated to serving God, often placing the needs of others before her own. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her family, working puzzles, playing cards, knitting, and reading and studying the Bible.

Her memories will be forever cherished by her daughter, Angela Denise Baker of Henderson, Nevada; sisters, Greta (Rodney) McGhee and Alberta Brantley; nieces, Melissa (David) George, LaTisha McGhee, Achiya McGhee, LaDrema Baker, and Kimberly Baker; nephews, Timothy Baker, Leonard Brantley, Briant Brantley, Steven Hatchett, Cameron George and Caden George; godchildren, Danielle, Alkivia, David Jr., Chavis, Chavis Jr., Channing, Lil John and Theresa; and her longtime devoted friend, Elder Wilma Scott, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her presence.

The family extends special thanks to the skilled nursing staff at Island Home Park Health and Rehab and University of Tennessee Medical Center Hospice Services for their compassionate care and support.

Maggie was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Lynn Osborne; her parents, Willie Porter Baker and Geraldine Gainer; and her siblings, Willie Pearl Badgett, Nathaniel Baker, and David Baker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., immediately followed by a Celebration of Life service at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
