Lucille “Pinky” Moore (McAfee), was born June 11, 1952, to Daisy McAfee and Will Mills. Lucille transitioned this life on March 13, 2026.


She was one of a kind, selfless, caring and kind. A breast cancer survivor; Known for her courage and strength, beautiful smile and hazel eyes, always willing to help others. She loved fiercely and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed listening to her Oldies but Goldies. 


She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas G Moore; father, Will Mills; grandparents, Mr & Mrs James McAfee; brothers, Waymond McAfee, Leonard Mills, Carl Mill; granddaughter, Da’Qasia Middleton;


She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Daisy McAfee; sons, Deadrick McAfee Sr, Darnell (TiKeke) McAfee; step-daughter, Sierra Smith; granddaughters, JaShawn Williams, DaShawn Marsh, Ravona Willis, Shanterra Marcus, Clara Davis, Stevecia Drew, Iinesha Agnew, Shatavia Smith; grandsons, De’Eric McAfee, DeMorris McKenzie, David Settles, Darnell Williams, Kentel Williams, Deadrick McAfee Jr, Shandel Willis; Sisters, Minister Marilyn Hamilton, Diane Duff, Sharon McAfee, Ellen Crawford, Willadean Mills; brothers, Samuel McAfee, Terry McAfee


As well as devoted cousin, Tammy Lewis


A host of other relatives including great-grandchildren (27) aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends


Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 24,2026 from 1pm to 2pm at First Calvary Baptist Church. 1750 Delaware Avenue, Knoxville TN 37921, with funeral to follow. Rev. Steve Simpson officiating. Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Knoxville, TN.

To the Mcafee and Moore and mills family I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of pinky, she was a kind hearted person with a heart of gold she will truly be missed.I love you guys and I’ll continually pray for you all if you need anything im just a phone call away.
