Junior Levi Williams, 78, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with his Savior, on March 3,2026.


 Jr. Levi was born on July 03, 1949, Marion Ohio to Levi and Irene (Cosey) Williams


A graduate of Marion Harding High School. As a young man at Mayes Community Temple, COGIC, Marion Oh Jr. Levi, accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and the call to ministry. Jr. Levi worked for Tecumseh Products until their closure.  He relocated to Knoxville, Tn to be with his older sister and brother.


Jr. Levi met and married Shirley (Winton) Williams in 1989.  He was employed in the area of maintenance for University of Tennessee and later retired from Tennessee Public Schools system (West High School).


Jr. Levi lived a life marked by his love for Christ, love of reading, kindness, humor, and his generosity that touched countless people along the way.


Above all, Jr. Levi cherished his family. He is survived by wife Shirley Williams, Knoxville, brother Michael (Christine) Williams, sister Patricia (James) Carter of Ohio, daughters Sherry Robinson and Melinda (Anthony Turman) Bowman, nephew Rick (Robin Kennedy) Howell, Michigan, brother-in-law Albert Winton Knoxville, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins in Ohio and Tennessee. who will forever remember his loving and kind spirit.


He is preceded in death by his mother and father Irene and Levi Williams, brother Earl Williams, sisters Barbara Howell- Simpson and Janice Williams, Son Jr. Levi Williams ll, and brother-in-law Bufford Simpson.


A celebration of life to honor Jr. Levi’s life will be held on March 21, 2026, 11 am- 12pm greet family, service start at 12 noon New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Cecil Ave Knoxville TN 37917. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the legacy of a life well lived.


Thank you to all the medical professionals and FT Sanders Hospital who were a part of Mr. Williams’ care.
