Johnny Towns

Johnny Towns, born July 22,1961, to the late Dorothy (Jane) Chandler, and Chester Jarnigan, passed away on August 10, 2026.

Preceded in death by: parents. Dorothy Chandler and Chester Jarnigan; brothers, James Towns Jr. and Ronnie Towns.

He is survived by: son, Dominique Chandler; nephews, Jeron (Mariam Cissoks Hall) Towns, James Vernon Towns, and Wade Towns; great-nephews, Rob Jhay Bush, and Kross Hall; great nieces, Jewel Towns, and Hazarata Towns; a host of other family, friends, and cousins to include Francine Towns.

Family will receive friends Saturday, August 22, 2026 4:30pm - 5:00pm, with memorial service to follow at 5:00pm at Jarnigan’s Chapel, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave Knoxville, TN 37914.

Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan and Son Mortuary
