In Loving Memory of LaFrance David McBee

It is with profound sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of LaFrance David McBee, who departed this life on September 30, 2026, at the age of 61.

LaFrance was born on November 12, 1964, to Shirley Ann Walden and John Davis

LaFrance was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Shirley Walden; his father, John Davis; his grandparents, Frederick Smith and Rufus Thompson; his sister, Becky McBee; and Mother/Father in law Bessie and Edward Fair and his devoted friend, Champlain Ernest B. Moore Jr.

LaFrance will forever be remembered by his family and loved ones for the special memories they shared with him. Though his journey on this earth has come to an end, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted wife, Alberta Fair McBee; his step children, Lisa, Patrina, ThreAunna Fair, and David Jackson, William Bird; his sisters, Francine Mapp, Teresa McBee, Vanessa Locke, Diana Barkely and ; his brothers, Eric (Tomica) Gillette, Johnny McBee, and Willie Lundy Michael(Kathy) Barkley, and Edward Fair ; 12-step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild ;and devoted niece Teresa Walden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although our hearts are heavy with his absence, we find comfort in knowing that LaFrance's memory will continue through the lives of those who loved him. The love he shared and the memories he left behind will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, LaFrance David McBee. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Jarnigan & Son Chapel, located at 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37914 with a service to immediately follow.
