Geraldine D. Billings, born July 29, 1934 in Courtland, Alabama to Eva M. Draper and Rev. Thomas Allen. She departed this life, on September 28, 2023.

Preceded in death by husband, James E. Billings, Jr.; first born daughter, Patricia; brother, Samuel Scruggs, Sr.; grandsons, Jamarral Gaston, Sr., Diondus Billings; granddaughter, Rameria Winton. Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Rodney D. Billings, Rev. Dr. James (Yolanda) Billings; daughter, Cathy Gordon; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; a host of family, friends, and Canaan Baptist Church of Christ family.

Family will receive friends, 12:00 noon- 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Canaan Baptist Church; funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. Harold A. Middlebrook, Officiating.

Interment, Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
