Debra Robinson

Debra LaRae Robinson was born on Janurary 12, 1963 to Shirley Ann Robinson and Tommy Gene McCray in Knoxville TN. She was called home to the Lord on July 18, 2026 at 4:01 pm.

Debra was an outgoing person, never meeting a stranger. She told her testimony everywhere she went. She believed in the healing power of God. She trusted his every word and lived by it. Even through her own illnesses, she was always helping others, taking care of others and making sure that no one went without. She was faithful to her church and loved her church family. She loved to sing and would lift her voice in the choir stand when she could. St Paul Baptist Church, you were a jewel in Debra’s existence.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her grand parents/adoptive parents: Joe D and Laura Robinson. Fraternal grand parent: Eva Mae McCray and great grandmother Lucille McCray. Aunts: Edna McCray and Creolia Erving and brother Tommy Meade. Uncles: Thomas and Joe Robinson

She will be lovingly missed by Sister/Aunt, Brenda Robinson, sisters: Traci (Gregory)Thomas, Sharon (Jerry ) Everett, Shaticka Winters. Brothers: Rodney and Ronney Brice, Bobby Robinson, and Toki McCray. Aunt: Sharon (Candy) Bullard. Special cousins Sandy (Andre) Atwater and Charissa Callaway, the Erving, Sutton, and Callaway families. Special niece: Tiara Blevins. Friends: Eleanor Manning, Kathy Brown, Darlene Berry, Justina Glaze, Eva Fauntleroy, and Camilla Rodriguez. And an abundance of family, church members, and nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to name.

Family will receive friends on Saturday July 25, 2026 from 10:30am to 11:30am at St. Paul Church 2342 Louise Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915 with service to immediately follow.
