December 10, 1938 – July 17, 2026


Brother Conley Emanuel, affectionately known to many as (Bae-Bae) was one of ten children born to the late Alex and Wilhelmina Emanuel on December 10, 1938, in Bennettsville, South Carolina. He peacefully entered eternity on Friday, July 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, humility, and devotion to family.


Brother Emanuel was educated in the Marlboro& Dillon County school system. At an early age, he was introduced to Jesus Christ while attending Dyers Hill A.M.E. Zion Church in Bennettsville, South Carolina, where he was baptized and became a faithful member.


Conley enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, hunting, and cultivating a beautiful garden. He treasured his family and found great joy in spending time with those he loved.


He was united in holy matrimony to Mother Anna Virginia Emanuel, and together they shared more than sixty-five years of marriage until her passing in March 2025. Their union was blessed with five loving daughters, whom they raised to love God and serve Him faithfully.


Brother Emanuel was known for his gentle spirit, warm smile, and welcoming personality. He never met a stranger and enjoyed conversations with people of every age. He especially loved preparing meals for his family and friends, expressing his love through hospitality and generosity.


The 5:00pm to 6:00pm, 6:00pm Burial Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Mt. Moriah Fire Baptized Holiness Church, located at 2001 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921with a service to immediately follow. Interment will be on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
