Yoshan Lynise Hackler, age 53, of Knoxville, born to Hugh Gene and Mildred J. Steele Hackler on January 26, 1972, in Knoxville, TN, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 3, 2025 at home.
Yoshan was educated in the Knoxville city school system and graduated from East Tennessee State University. She taught elementary school in Knoxville for many years.
Yoshan is preceded in death by parents and grandparents, Hugh C. and Martha Marie Jenkins Hackler and Henry and Geraldine Baker Steele.
She is survived by brother, Gregory Scott (Myra) Hackler of Knoxville, and two chosen bonus children, Tori’James and Destiney D. Thomas.
Family visitation will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Jarnigan’s Chapel.
Arrangements are by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
