William Oliver “Bubby" Lenoir, age 74, departed this life on August 17, 2024. William was born April 4, 1950 to the late William and Lucille Hannum Lenoir. He enjoyed watching sports and hanging with his family and friends. William had a warm heart and cared dearly for those that were close to him. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Lucille Hannum Lenoir, daughter, JoVetta Tory, and great-grandsons, Tazion Blair and Timothy Brinson Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, John (Felicia) Tory and Jahmal (Shawanna) Tory; daughters, Javonne Tory, Dominique Payne, Ujima Lenoir, Kellye Lenoir, La-Tasha (Tim) Brinson, and Beaunka Bankston; a host of grand and great-grandchildren, sisters, Linda (James) Henley, nieces, Denise Lowe and Cassandra Henley; nephew, Herman Michael Love, and a host of other family and friends to include devoted friends, Victor Carero and Jean Tory. A balloon release to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Caswell Park, 570 Winona St, Knoxville, TN 37917, at 1:30pm.
