Tommy Whitehead Jr., 48, entered the gates of Heaven on Nov 21, 2023.
Tommy was born on January 23rd, 1975 to Shermaine Whitehead and Dock Stewart Jr., now deceased. He was also preceded in death by his son, Tamon Stapleton, and sister, Unica Whitehead.
He attended Austin East and Central High School where he enjoyed playing football. Tommy was a well-known Licensed barber for over twenty-two years, while lastly being employed at Rob’s Clean Cuts and Styles. In addition to cutting hair, Tommy was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and TN Volunteer. Tommy had a well-rounded positive soul that influenced his peaceful outlook on life.
He loved his family and leaves to cherish his loving daughter, Alexus Bennet, and his two precious granddaughters, A’Reya Love, and A’Ryn Queen Lundy. His loving mother Shermaine Whitehead, Stepfather Tommy Whitehead. Brothers: Jabbar Whitehead, Joshua Whitehead, and Dock (Bridgette) Stewart. Sisters: Chastity Whitehead, Shamenta Hughes, and Doshenique Stewart. Also brothers and sisters from Chicago, Ohio, Memphis, Georgia, and Oak Ridge. Step Brothers and Sisters from Knoxville. Aunt and Uncle Sherry and Butch Lane, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins of Oak Ridge. Following a host of nieces and nephews (too numerous to name), many friends, and faithful clients.
