Shelly Cutwright-Ireland

Shelly Nicole Cutwright-Ireland was born on November 18, 1974, to the late Sam E. Cutwright and Minnie Lee Cutwright. She graduated from Austin-East High School in 1993. She was united in marriage on July 26, 1997, and lived in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a few years before returning home to Knoxville in 2001.

Shelly was a devoted and faithful member of Antioch FBH Church, and served with dedication as president of both the HYPU and YPI Departments. Her love for the Lord was unwavering, and even during times of sickness, she remained committed to worship.

A beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, Shelly was known for her vibrant personality and beautiful spirit, touching the lives of all who knew her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Kevin Ireland Sr.; her five children—sons Kevin Jr. and Dewayne Ireland, and daughters LaDaisha, Briana, and Shakeila Ireland; and nine cherished grandchildren . Shelly will also be lovingly remembered by her five siblings: Melvin Sheadrick, Lisa (Oliver) Perry, Loretta (Paul) Armstrong, April Pittard, and Timothy (Nicole) Cutwright. In addition, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins will miss her dearly.

Shelly’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 16 th , 2025 at Antioch FBH Church, 2316 Linden Avenue, Knoxville, Tn 37917. Receiving of friends will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow. Elder Franklin Brown Officiating.
