Ruby Catherine Holt Mason, transitioned from this life, July 14, 2023 at U. T. Hospital. Born, October 9, 1928 to David Neal Holt and Curlie Anderson. She grew up in New Hope Baptist Church in Manchester, Ga, later became a longtime member of New Salem Baptist Church, Knoxville.
Employed as CNA of Knoxville Convalescent Nursing Home and assisted with many City Elections.
Preceded in death by, father David Neal Holt; mother, Curlie Anderson; loving stepmother, Queenie Holt; stepbrother, Thomas Turner; grandsons, Terry Mack, Jr. and Robert Bailey.
Survivors, sons, Samuel Holt, Freddy Paul (Tammy), Gary, David Mason and Tony Cotner; daughter, Rosslyn Diane Fair, Virginia Gail and Ruby Carol Mason; forty- five grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchilden; many other family and friends.
Family will receive friends, Friday, July 21, 2023, 2:30-3:30 p.m., at Jarnigan’s Chapel; funeral service, 3:30 p.m., Rev. Sanford Miller, Officiating.
