Reuben Robert Henry Foster born February 12, 1953. Departed this life on, Monday February 2, 2026, at The University of Tennessee Medical Center.  


Reuben Foster was the son of the late Cleo Marie Martin and S.B. Washington. He is also preceded in death by his sisters; Portia Foster and Charlene Martin. Reuben leaves behind his beloved daughter Sutoria Foster, Gerald Hodge III (grandson), Valley Hodge (great granddaughter). 


He also leaves behind sisters; Elsie Rosebuck, Lavita (Michael) Farmer. Brothers; Jimmy Foster, George Foster, Jerry (Joy) Foster, Stinson Foster, Paul (Betty) Foster, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives along with a community of friends. 


                                                  Life Is a Temporary Assignment


                                    LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth

                                    will be. Remind me that my days are numbered,

                            I am here on earth for just a little while. Psalm 119:19 (TEV)


Family will receive friends Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. At Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN, 37914, with funeral services to follow. Rev. Steve Simpson Officiating. Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Sons Mortuary.
