Reginald Maurice Hodge “Red Brick,” 58 of Knoxville, Tennessee,
went home Thursday morning June 22, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
He was of the Son of Frank (Linda) Hodge and Odese (Thomas) Brown. He was born in Knoxville, TN, where he attended Austin-East High School. He worked with his father at Hodge Properties for 38 years, where he was an equipment operator.
He was loved and cherished by his family and his community, and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by, grandmothers, Mildred Hodge, Ollie Mae, and Lena Craig; stepmother, Linda Hodge; sisters, Regina Craig and Carolyn Echols; brother, Kenneth Dwayne Hodge Sr. “Gilbert;”uncle, John (Linda) Hodge; Aunt, Bertha Walker, Margaret Irwin; nieces, Brooke Calloway and Makaiya Taylor.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Son; Reverend Reginald (Whitney) Jackson, Grandchildren Keyshawn, Cahmari’, and Rylan; sisters and brothers, Donna Taylor, Tiffany Lynch, Angelic, Alajaon, Jamie (Jennifer) Hodge, Kathy Strickland, Tiffany Greenlee, and Camille Calloway; nephews and nieces; Michael (Brandi) Taylor, Kenny Hodge, Markale Gaston, Marshall Gaston ,Rajah Harris, Bryan Smith Jr., Jarvis Hodge, Tameka Greenlee, Haiden, Hailo, and Marla Jordan; great nephews and nieces, Ka’Mani, Kaleyah, Marshall, Sariah, Damoni, Michael, Jarius, Gabrielle, Tamaiya, Lyric, , Jahvionte, Sereniti, Jatrelyn; uncles and aunts; Ann Craig, Bertha Walker, Glenda Williams, Delores Moss, Sarah Burgess, Lewis, Jonny (Jeanette), Geoffrey (Jackie), Broderick (Connisha) Moss, Hebert (Anna) Hodge, Janice Irby, Elnora Dower, and Leroy Irby; cousins and other relatives to include, Teresa Johnson, Anthony and Barbara Craig; brothers and life-long friends, Don “Arde”(Linda) Johnson Jr., and Aron Gary, Big Tracy Sutton and a host of family and friends, too numerous to name.
Family will receive friends, 12:00-12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Mount Olive Baptist Church; Celebration of Life service, 12:00 p.m. Reverend Reginald M. Jackson officiating. Entombment Berry Highland South.
