Ollie Pearl Browner was born June 18, 1945 in Anniston, Alabama. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
Ollie was employed for many years on U.T. campus and Knox County Schools until her retirement. Ollie loved her family and never met a stranger. She enjoyed going to the Wesley House, playing cards, and most of all, dancing.
Ollie was called home August 10, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Browner Sr., six sisters, and five brothers.
She is survived by her loving and very devoted son: Roy (Jajuana) Browner Jr.; grandchildren: Roy Browner III, Ayan Davis, and step-grand Ayah Dash; bonus son: Joc (Brandie ) Knuckles; devoted nephew: Kenneth King; and a host of family too numerous to name.
Ollie was loved by many — a few names to include: Tangy Blair, Javonne & Jean Tory, Dominique & Dorothy Bailey, Angel Hereford-Collins, Wahketta Davis, Janet Knuckles, Cheri Johnson, William (Audrey) Martin, Mary Blair, Meshay Askew, Ramond Jackson, Aleigh Armstrong, and the Wesley House Family.
Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice.
