Myron Mashawn Moran was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 1,1976 to Betty Smith and Patrick Moran, Sr. Myron attended Knox County public schools and received his diploma from Maine Department of Education in 2001.
Myron loved to cook and was a culinary cook at some of the most prestigious restaurants in Knoxville, TN. He loved working with food and enjoyed sharing his culinary skills.
Myron was known for his warm smile and his fun-loving nature. He was very devoted to his family and friends. His best friends were his devoted cousins, Daylon Roberts and Shannon Upton.
Preceded in death by his sister Bethany Lynn Hayes, father, Patrick Moran, Sr., Aunt, Kathy Upton, and Uncle, John Roberts, Myron leaves to cherish his memory, children, Jakya, Arielle, Trevon, Keegan, and Brielle; 9 Grandchildren; Mother, Betty Smith; Siblings, Patrick, Jr., Lenita, and devoted sister, Karen (Kay Kay); Devoted Uncle, Joseph (Kim) Roberts; Loving Aunts, Curtistine Howard, Darlene (Arthur) Nance and favorite aunt, Dolly (Gary) Mack, the Tillery, Stinson, Roberts, and Moran families and host of friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:00pm with service to immediately follow. Services will be held at Eternal Life Harvest Center, located at 1801 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921. Bishop Evans Kariuki delivered the Eulogy. Interment at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921 immediately following service. Family gathering will be announced thereafter.
