Marcus Chance (Chance Man) Johnson went from this world to be with his heavenly father. He has been healed, no one’s in a hurry, no schedule to keep. He is enjoying Jesus, just sitting at his feet. He is walking the streets of gold, standing strong and whole. Peacefully and quietly he slipped away at home with his mother and father.
Marcus was a 2011 graduate of Gibbs High School. A love that he showed to all will always be remembered. He loved (Deon Sanders). sports, and in his own special way he was favored. He loved game shows, golf (Tiger Woods being his favorite), U.T. football, and the University of Colorado (Deon Sanders). Marcus also loved music (Luther Vandross being number one). Those who were waiting on his arrival were his grandparents: John and Mary Sharp-Lundy; Robert and Lila Cox-Johnson and great-aunt Willie Mae Greene (Aunt Mae). He leaves to cherish his memory beloved parents Raymond and Dessie Lundy Johnson, Uncles, David and William Johnson, Aunt, Mildred Johnson, Devoted God-given Aunt, Jamesena Kelley, as well his doctors and friends that his love for life attested.
“We think of you in silence, we often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, we have you in our heart”.
A ballon release will be held Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Chilhowee Park, where he liked to go.
Services entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
