Lakeysha R. Tate

Lakeysha Renee Tate, passed March 29, 2024 at her home; she was baptized at Arlington Church of Christ and was attending First AME Zion Church.

A graduate of Austin East, class of 1998.

Preceded in death by, mother, Gloria Jean Tate; grandparents, Lucy Tate, and James Turner.

Lakeysha leaves to mourn her passing, father,  Jerome (Bertha) Tate; sons, Jamartray Gillis, Ke’Sean Tate Gillis; brother, Franklin (Michelle) Tate; uncles and aunts, Linda, Steve, Paul, Patricia, Anthony and Sandra Moore; nieces and nephews, Jamonte Tate, Lanecia Tate; great nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Jamar Gillis, Deidre Bomar and Kizzie Wallace, Walter P. Family, Austin East Class of 1998.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6 from 11:30am to 12:30pm with a service to immediately follow. Service will be held at 1st A.M.E. Zion Church, located at 1900 McCalla Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915.
