Jurnee Roper

Jurnee Mikayla Roper was born on November 25, 2000. She definitely was the “life of the party,” so much so that she was actually born in her Grandparents’ house on the floor, and her Papa David nicknamed her “Crash.”

Jurnee was a go-getter from a very young age, Always aspiring to be the BEST that she could be. Always very outgoing, Always willing to help anyone that she could. She made a Positive Impact upon anyone that she came into contact with; whether it was at the Boys/Girls club, Main Events, Chipotle, Chick Fil-A, The Girl Scouts or even The Ontrack Program that she was scheduled to Graduate from in February.

Regardless of different life changes, including Jurnee being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 15; Jurnee was Resilient. She never stopped, Never gave up, Never gave in- Amen.

Unfortunately Jurnee went on to glory on December 14, 2025 due to an Unfortunate accident. She was Preceded in death by her maternal Grandmother- Mrs. Charlotte Holt, her Maternal Grandfather- Mr. David Holt Sr., her Maternal Great Grandmother- Mrs. Mae Lee Lenoir, her Paternal Great Grandmother- Mrs. Beulah Bolder, and her Paternal Great Grandfather, Mr. Jesse Detro Sr.

Jurnee is survived by her Father- Mr. Lawuni Roper, Sister-Shyra, Brother-Kwundavian Roper, Brother-Olajuwun Roper, Brother- Halo Roper, and Brother- Daniel Goines. Also Aunt- Tosha Hardin, Aunt- Shamika Roper, Aunt- Larmosha Hollis, Aunt- Joycelyn McFadden, and Uncle- Osei Bolden. Her Grandparents Mr. Larry Bolden, and Mrs. Yolanda Manning.

On her maternal side, Jurnee leaves behind her Mother- Mrs. Zorkena Otis, her Aunts- Ms.Utoria Holt and Ms. Natalie Holt, along with her Uncle- Mr. David Holt Jr, plus an entire plethora of Significant Family/Friends. Please continue to Pray and lift up her family As Much As Possible.
