Johnny Brown

Johnny (Work) Brown, born July 19th, 1954.

Proceed in death by parents Slyvester (Work) and Eloise Brown. Brother Leroy Wells, grandparents Gussie and Susie Wells.. several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survived by daughter U’Kiah Pelcher, sons Mario & Sherman. Grandkids Jazaida, Jazine, Micah, Mikiah, Malayia a Lil Lamont. Brother Eddie Wells and sister Patricia Wells Lawson . A host of nieces, cousins. Special friends Stinson, Gregory, TooTall, and Judy Pelcher and other friends

Johnny was a golden glove boxer, he also played football for Austin East High School and was a member of the class f 1973, he worked for Southern railroads and was a member of the National Guards.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Jarnigan & Son Chapel, located at 2823 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914 with a service to immediately follow. Family and friends will meet at 2928 magnolia ave Knoxville TN after funeral.
