Jeffrey B. Smith

Jeffery Bernard Smith passed away at UT Hospital on October 21, 2024. He is the son of Mrs. Stella T. Smith of Rockford, Tennessee and the late James M. Smith. Jeffery was a truck driver owner-operator.

Jeffrey B. Smith, age 53, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born on June 29, 1971 to Stella Tate Smith and the late James Smith in Queens, New York. Jeff was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle.

Spending time with loved ones and family meant the world to him, and he was loved tremendously in return. He spent many years as a self employed truck driver as well as a devoted family man.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his mother Stella Tate Smith; sisters Marlo Smith, Clarissa (Herbert) McMillian, Latasha Haywood, Cheresse Nelson and Erica Danielle; children, Yashi Smith, Chris Giroux, Jeffrey (JJ Smith, Jashawn Smith, Byron Banks and Brian Banks; grandchildren, Nailah Smith, Ciena Giroux, Kiana Giroux and Jayce Smith; nieces and nephews, Corey Smith, Laquasia Smith, Kasheem Smith, Prentis Haywood, Nahshawn Smith, Itiq Smith, Marcel Smith, Tasha Brown, Kyhiem Haywood, and other relatives and friends.

Services will convene Monday, October 28, 2024.
