James Price

James Edward Price was born to his beloved parents, James H. Price, Jr. and Mary D. Price on September 30, 1954, in Knoxville, TN, and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Herndon, VA. James was a graduate of Fulton High School Class of 1972. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in New York and worked alongside with his cousin, Reggie and his wife, Mildred for 32 years. 

In 2004, James met the love of his life, Veronica Marie Williams, and they immediately bonded and married on May 13, 2007. The shared many memories of traveling and spending time with family. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Price; parents, James and Mary Price; aunts Helen Goins, Pauline Glenn, Ruth Willies, Rachel Scott, and Geneva Huey; Uncles Walter Donaldson, Edward (Venora) Donaldson, and Herbert Lee (Marcia) Donaldson, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his devoted step-sons, Jazeel (Tania) Parris, Edison, NJ and Mutinda (Sandrine) Parris, Atlanta, GA; loving brothers Gary Price, Knoxville, TN and Rolland (Janice) Hughes, Riverdale, GA; adoring nieces, Garmeca Price, Atlanta, GA and Erika Gillette, Knoxville, TN; caring nephews Ashford (Victoria) hughes, Nashville, TN, Mario (Canita) Hughes, Huntsville, AL, and Ato Hughes, Atlanta, GA; loyal cousins, Aaron (Donna) Goins, Virginia Beach, VA Antwoine Armstrong, Richmond, VA, Cora (Ernie) Mitchell, Chicago, IL, Herbert (Lauren) Donaldson, Knoxville, TN, Leland Willis, Knoxville, TN, Margie Eppinger, Cleveland, OH, Myra Glenn, Las Vegas, NV, and Donald Glenn, Bakersfield, CA; dedicated aunt Geraldine Donaldson, Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren; seven great-nephews; two great-nieces; a host of cousins, extended family and friends. 

Up until the end, James maintained his kindness, compassion, humbleness, and expressed his love in many ways for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all and will remain in our hearts.
