GENEVIEVE PARKS, 95 of Knoxville, TN, transitioned peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones, Sunday, October 15, 2023.
She was born, April 24, 1928 to the late Elder Rue and Geneva Arnwine Black in Meigs Co. TN.
A faithful and devoted member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she was affectionately called, “Momma G.” and Mother Parks. She was preceded in death by husband, Wilburn Parks; siblings, Jessee B. Brown, Dorothy Moulden, John A. Black; grandson’s Tracey “Yoodie” Parks, Robert “Coco,” Andrade ; nieces, Jackie Garrett, and Tillia Mapp. Family will receive friends, 4:00-4:30 p.m., Saturday at McDonald Drive Church of Christ, Rev. William Riddle, Officiating.
