Mrs. Evelyn was one of my mother's ( Mrs. James Spears) closest friends and like a second mother to me as well as my siblings. It breaks my heart to not be able attend her "home coming" due work related matters. My prayers go out to her family and other relatives at this trying moment.
Love always

Miss Evelyn was one of the most generous, kind women I have ever met. As a kid, I loved her style, or kindness, and her smile. She was always loving and supportive. I love you, Fortson Family. You are in my prayers. ~Veon
