Dorothy was born September 11th, 1950, to the late Blonde Anderson

King and Mrs. Ollie Smith. Dorothy entered eternal rest on May

Dorothy was fully devoted to the Lord and was a member of Mount

When she was not spreading the word, Dorothy was a seamstress, loved to shop, loved to cook, and hosted many bake sales in the Knoxville community (her poundcake was something to brag about).

Smith, and her loving children: Sinika Johnson, Shannon Johnson,

and Lawrence Johnson Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her only surviving child:

Marcus Johnson, grandchildren: Adasia Johnson, Jamarcus Johnson,

Ciana Johnson, Christopher Johnson, ZaDavious Johnson, Keishaun

Johnson, Danashia Johnson, Jaylin Corbett, and Jazmine Richmond.

She also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces,

nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and special friends of the Knoxville

community. She will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 11 from 6:30pm to 7:00pm at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary with a life celebration service to immediately follow.

Arrangements made by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
