Elder RUFUS AL DRISCOL, KNOXVILLE- ELDER RUFUS AL DRISCOL, age 83 went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Retired from the University of Tennessee after 36 years; pastored in the Church of God. Faithful member of Boyd Street of God until he became ill.

Preceded in death by wife, Audrey Driscol; parents, Roosevelt and Lillie Mae Driscol; brothers, Charles (Lavonia) Moore, Roosevelt and sister, Lillian (Charles).

Survivors, daughters, Barti Dubose, Ashley Driscol; grandsons, Curtis Thomas and Elijah Thomas; great-grandchildren, Luckson and Ella; sisters, Celestine (Prince), Geraldine and Roberta (Frank); brothers, Bennie, Bruce, Wayne (Daffney) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will receive friends, 2:30-3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Cherry Street Church of God; funeral service, 3:00 p.m., Elder Ricky Cade, Officiating, Elder Charles Harris, Eulogist. Interment, Boyd’s Creek Cemetery.
