Clifford Cowan Sr.

Clifford Lawrence Cowan Sr. departed this life on December 21, 2024. He was born to Otto and Emma Cowan in Thomasville, AL, on August 10, 1968. He attended school in the Knoxville School District.

He is preceded in death by son, Clifford Cowan Jr., sister, Toshi Cowan, and father, Otto Cowan.

Precious memories remain with those who loved him most: loving and devoted mother, Emma Cowan; son, Demarcus Stewart; daughters, Lil Toshi Cowan and Juaneshi Cowan; grandchildren, Jashia Cowan, Damauri Stewart, Keyson Cowan, and Amiyia Cowan; sister, Serila Phillips; brothers, Eric Cowan and Kevin Phillips; stepbrother, Jerry Turman of Elberton, GA; nephews, Prince Wayne, Diamond Cowan, Eric Cowan Jr., and Jayce Cowan; nieces, Erica Cowan, Rochelle Preston, and Tiwana and Danielle Turman of Elberton, GA; six aunts, including special and devoted aunt, Mary Cade; two uncles; and a host of loving cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:00pm to 1:30pm at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Knoxville, TN 37914, with funeral services to follow. Bishop Shedrick Cade officiating. Interment at Berry Highland South.
