Charles Johnson Jr.

Charles Johnson Jr. of Michigan, departed this life September 1, 2024. Charles was born in Athens, TN to the late Minnie and Charles Johnson Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Samuel, Sylvester, Paul, and Jim Johnson; and close friend, Melvin Tate.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory: loving and devoted wife of sixty-four years, Sylvia Johnson; daughter, Sylvia Charlen; grandson, Davarrio Samuel; siblings, Wallace (Helen), Wayne, Bennie Joyce (Lorenzo), and Luther; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Charles will be announced at a later date.
