Charlene Martin

Charlene Martin, aged 59, passed away on November 30, 2024. She was born on November 28, 1965, in Knoxville, TN. Charlene was a dedicated mother and Gigi, always adoring her daughter and grandson. She treasured them deeply, was incredibly proud of them, and cherished every moment with them. Charlene frequently visited the casino, always eager to win money. She also enjoyed crocheting with her friends on TikTok and her childhood friend LaTasha Turner. She particularly loved making hats and bags, especially from grocery bags.

She was pronounced deceased by daughter Sierra Martin, along with grandson Dekari Martin.

Charlene Martin was the daughter of the late Cleo Marie Martin and Charles Henry Martin. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Portia Foster.

Charlene leaves behind her beloved daughter Sierra Martin and grandson Dekari Martin.

She also leaves behind sisters: Elsie Roebuck, Lavita Farmer (Michael); brothers: Jimmy Foster, George Foster, Reuben Foster, Jerry Foster (Joy James-Foster), Stinson Foster, Paul Foster (Betty); nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary (2823 MLK Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914) with a service to immediately follow. Rev. Harold Middlebrook Officiating. Interment to immediately follow service at Mountain Olive Cemetery.
