Brenda Parker of Knoxville Tenn, born to parents Theretha Caldwell and James Robinson.

Children Harriett Charlene (Spencer), David Patrick, Victor Dewayne, Izetta Renee, and Trudy Ann. 


She was preceded in death by sister, Michelle Robinson Benn fondly known as Michael, Shirley Robinson King fondly known as Nearl. brothers Paul Lawrence Robinson (her twin), James Robinson (Buddy) and John Allen Morrison (Humphrey) stepfather John Allen Morrison (Johnnie) Daughter Trudy and Grandson Ramonda- Mondie played in the kitchen cabinets and called her GanGan because he could not say grand momma. And thus, the name Gangan stuck with her, and everyone called her GANGAN to this day Nephew’s baby Punkin and William Morrison (Rabbit) Husbands Isaiah Pearson, JW Parker.


She is survived by Baby Sister Pat Morrison Johnson Fondly known as Patsy. Daughters Harriett, Izetta and Sons, Patrick and Victor 8 grandchildren, great grandchildren and many great, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews even into the generation of great and great grands and many high school friends particularly Ms. Alfreda Grimes who she talked about all the time and shared birthdays together. 


Mother Parker was a member at St Matthew Reformed Glorious Church of God and started the monthly birthday celebration. When her health began to decline, Bishop Spencer picked up and carried on. Unto this day, we have birthday fellowship every month due to some having birthdays every month of the year (LOL)


She later became Church Mother to Step Out Ministry. Her pastor being Bishop Spencer Foster

There are so many people to thank for taking Such Good care of GanGan, Ms Tee, the nurses, nurses’ aides Saree, Syren and activity workers of NHC Nursing Facility.


Thank you to Aunt Patsy, Calvin and Pastor Sandy, Bishop T L Glenn, Step Out Ministry, Lennon Senney, Mr Beal Bourne and Ms. Peggy (high school friend) and everyone that helped us in this time. If I did not call your name, please charge it to my head and not my heart, IN THE VOICE OF GANGAN SHE WOULD SAY THANKS UNTIL YOU ARE BETTER PAID.

We love you all with the Love of Jesus.


The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm with a service to immediately follow. Services located at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary at 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914.
