Bobbie J. Shelton, born on November 1, 1959, in Memphis, TN. to Cora and Roy Lee Shelton. She departed this life to be with her heavenly Father on November 26, 2025 at her home in Knoxville, TN.
Bobbie was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also an active member at the O'Connor Senior Center; where she enjoyed teaching sewing class, when she felt up to it. Sewing was one of many talents she possessed, she could draw, make jewelry, knit, make her own clothes and she enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a God fearing woman with a strong-willed personality. She was one to help anybody she could, she was very resilient and did not hold back on what she thought or how she felt. She loved deeply and wanted the same love in return.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Cora Lee Shelton and Father Roy Lee Shelton, whom she loved dearly. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Danielle Shelton, her two grandchildren Dazjanique (Ace) Kinteh, and Desmond Shelton.
Her siblings: Louise Shelton, Roy (Darlene) Shelton Jr., Patricia (James) Shelton, Cora Mae Shelton, Johnny Shelton, Susan Wright and Kary Shelton. A host of nieces and nephews along with Her closest friends Sheretta Dickey and Mrs. Neat. And her extended family: Dr. Rhoda Stone, Stephanie Chandler, Toshiba Hinton, Keyaira (Zoe) Stapleton, Raiquan Stapleton, Joy (Michael) Fain and Koresa Dickey to name a few.
