Betty Jo Houseal Hereford 71, gained her wings, on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at home with family.

Preceded in death by parents, Roscoe and Maude Houseal; brothers, Willie “June” and Robert “Bob” Houseal ; nephew, Mark Houseal.

Survivors, daughter, Angel (Alvin) Collins; son, Averon Fair; sisters, Beverly (Zion) Houseal, Lavergne, TN, Regina Davis, Dorothy Williams and Lisa (Nate) Giles, Chattanooga, TN; brother, Billy Washington; grandchildren, Jabriel and Armani Linzy, Ava Fair and Alvin Collins, Jr.; great grand son, Jabriel Linzy Jr.; nieces and nephews too numerous to name; devoted friends, Phyllis Brabson, Patricia Keith, Betty and James Long, Dorothy and James Collins and Leda Blackmon.

Family will receive friends, 2:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, funeral service, 3:00 p.m. Interment, 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2023, New Gray Cemetery.
