Ashley Tameka Lenise Sales

Ashley Tameka Lenise Sales born May 2, 1985 departed this life at the age of 39 on October 7, 2024.

She graduated from South Doyle High School in 2004. Her passion for cooking led her to numerous positions in the culinary industry where she honed her cooking skills. Preparing family meals with her sister for the family always brought her joy especially when they changed recipes to suit all their tastes. She is a lifetime member of the Lennon Seney United Methodist Church where she was baptized and accepted Christ. She was a member of the United Voices Choir and assisted with vacation Bible School.

Ashley was a very loving and devoted sister and auntie. The Love of her life

was her nephews, Kamyren and Kannon and niece Kelis. They were her reason to live, fight, and hold on.

She is preceded in death by parents, Anderson Jr. and Vicki Sales; grandparents:

Betty Jean King, Anderson “Jake”, and Ruth Jackson Sales; and uncle, Michael

Tate Sr.

Ashley is survived by sister, Jasmine (Cameron Ellis) Sales; nephews, Kamyren and Kannon Ellis; niece; Kelis Ellis; aunts: Carolyn Sales Hollingsworth, Tammy

(Phillip) Wright, and Rachel Winston; cousins: Antonio (Tamula) Sales,

Chiandria Sales, DeVanté Sales, Phillip Wright III, and Nicholas Wright;

close friends, Karen Cameron and Sharon Bomar; and a host of family and

friends.

Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Lennon Seney United Methodist Church, 2084 Dandridge Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915.

Receiving of Friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Services to follow.

Final arrangements entrusted to Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
