Allen Theodore Kincaid

05-04-1932 to 10-13-2023

Allen Theodore Kincaid of Knoxville Tennessee born May 4, 1932, journeyed home, October 13, 2023. He graduated from Beardsley JR. High, and Austin High School Class of 1950. Allen obtained his Associates Degree in electronics and taught at Austin High School. He was an All-American Army Volleyball player and a regional Volleyball official.

Allen joined the US Army in 1956, where he served as a Non-Commissioned Officer for twenty years. Allen taught the Chaparral Missile System at West Point Military Academy, studied psychology at the University of Maryland (Ft Bliss, Texas), and was a military hypnotist practicing at Ft. Bliss Texas, Camp Humphrey South Korea, and Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. He was ordained as an Elder at Bentley Street Christian Church. And after twenty years of service, he retired as Elder Emeritus. He joined Honey Rock Victorious Church in September 2021. He was loved by all that knew him, but above all else, he loved the Lord.

Preceded in death by his wife, Margie (Howell) Kincaid; parents, Henry Kincaid and Frances (Brown) Kincaid Montgomery; daughter, Gloria Ann Kincaid; brother, William (Catherine) Kincaid, and nephew, John Wayne.

Allen is survived by children, Frances, Virginia, Youlanda, Carl, Jeffery, Adrian, and Annette; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grand and 4 great great grandchildren; nephews to include, William Jr, Allen, and Richard Kincaid, and a host of other relatives to include the McCanelley, Montgomery, Duncan and Tate families, and caregiver, Carla Kyle.

Allen Kincaid will lie in state Wednesday October 18, 2023 after 2pm. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy Knoxville, TN 37920, 10:00 am.
